This is a site dedicated to all those who have been banned from the Sveasoft “Support” forums for little or no reason – at the whim of Sveasoft’s owner, James Ewing.
I paid $20USD to join the Sveasoft.com support forum and down the latest build of their software. After several months (~6) I joined a thread about whether Sveasoft code was GPL licensed or not. I asked if it was. My login to the site was then disabled. I asked for a $11.60 USD refund – as that was the amount pro-rated for the “support” I would not be receiving.
After hearing nothing, I registered SveasoftSucks.com and simply stated that i thought Sveasoft software sucked and suggested several other replacement firmware options for Linksys routers.
The harassment started almost immediately. Some of the fun included: fake impersonating profiles stating that I was a pedophile and child predator on social networking sites like LinkedIn.com and Naymz.com, fake emails from various free email providers in my name to my employer, phone calls in the middle of the night (with a newborn – that was real classy) that would just be dead air, False Flickr.com profiles, photos taken from my pBase.com account and posted in false profiles… and the list goes on.
